ELSA Presentation to Curriculum Governors Please click on the link below to access the presentation delivered to our Curriculum Governors on 7th July 2026 by two of our wonderful ELSAs (Emotional Literacy Support Assistants), supported by Mr Watkins, our ALNCo. At Penllergaer Primary School, we believe that children learn best when they feel happy, safe and emotionally secure. Our ELSAs play a vital role in supporting pupils' emotional wellbeing, helping them to develop confidence, resilience, self-esteem and the skills needed to manage life's challenges. Through individual and small-group support, ELSAs help children understand and express their feelings, build positive relationships and develop strategies to overcome barriers to learning. We are incredibly proud of the invaluable contribution our ELSAs make to our school community and were delighted to see them share their work and its impact with our governors.
