Assessment Presentation to Curriculum Governors Please click on the link below to access the presentation delivered to our Curriculum Governors on 7th July 2026 by Mr Blake, our Assessment Expert. The presentation provided an overview of how assessment information is used at Penllergaer Primary School to support pupil progress and school improvement. It explored the role of Personalised Assessments within the Curriculum for Wales and highlighted how assessment is combined with teacher observations, pupil voice, progress meetings and professional dialogue to build a holistic understanding of each learner's development. The presentation also outlined the school's key priorities for the year ahead, including further strengthening reading and mathematics provision, ensuring that all pupils continue to make strong progress and achieve their full potential. We would like to thank Mr Blake for sharing his expertise and providing governors with valuable insight into how assessment information helps inform teaching, learning and continuous improvement across our school.
