Thorough Workbook Scrutiny is undertaken by the SLT termly.

Members of the Governing Body are invited to attend these sessions and or AoLE monitoring sessions throughout the year in order to develop their understanding on the progress of the SIP Targets throughout the school, in order to challenge more effectively.

During ADDs sessions the SLT will feedback on whole school or phase successes, along with areas for improvement.

PPS Quality Assurance Forms focusses on the areas of success and agreed next steps by the following Workbook Scrutiny.

This strategy provides very similar opportunities and benefits to the SUP Process (Shared Understanding of Progression), with great detail, focus and support mechanisms for individual staff, phases and the whole school. 

This approach also enables greater clarity of ‘live’ performance in provision and standards across the whole school.  

• Where it is successful it can be celebrated and shared with others with greater enthusiasm and clarity as it is current practice. 

• Where it is not successful, support can be given to improve practice before it becomes embedded.
