Welcome! Thank you for visiting our School Senedd page 2024 - 2025. 

We are proud to be part of our School Senedd. 

As you probably already know from our school newsletters and Instagram posts the School Senedd has been meeting every Friday to influence change in PPS and make PPS even better!!!

By the end of the year we will have a School Senedd Powerpoint which we will post to this page - in the meantime, this is what we have been doing. 

So far this Autumn Term we have:

* Reviewed our school Code of Conduct and presented our findings to the school during an assembly.

* We have created a questionnaire to find out what our friends think about school dinners.

* We have written to the Local Authority Catering Department to let them know what we think of school dinners.

* We organised a 'Make the Rules Day' and raise over £300. After speaking to our friends we found out that they would like squash with their meals at lunchtimes. So we are going to use the money to buy sugar free squash.

* On Friday 28th November we met with Claire the supervisor of the catering department and spoke to her about portion sizes, menu options and lots more. We now realise that we cannot provide sauces for lunchtimes, as this would mean that our lunches will not have the requirements set out by the local authority, instead we will use the money we have saved to have a treat once a term and provide squash for our friends.

* We even wrote to supermarkets to see if they could help us out. Tesco came back and have given us a £20 voucher!!! FANTASTIC!!

* We have also written letters to our local community to invite them to our School Senedd Christmas Party.

We have done so much this term!! Look out Spring Term - the School Senedd are on a mission!!
